FILTERBIO is a high-quality biological filter media used in our PRESS or LOOP complete filter systems - the granulate interacts perfectly with both the REPLAY and REFINE filter pads. FILTERBIO is a high-quality filter granulate with excellent biological cleaning performance. FILTERBIO consists of highly porous sintered quartz and the surface area provides the optimal living conditions for natural colonies of purifying bacteria. FILTERBIO should be cleaned with cold water and without detergents - the result: Crystal clear water in the pond!

• FILTERBIO is washable and can be reused several times.

EHEIM recommends:

Never wash filter media in hot water or use chemical cleaners as this will destroy the sensitive bacteria. To ensure optimal colonization of valuable filter bacteria, do not clean the filter media until the water flow has decreased significantly.
